Come & Try Fishing! – Barwon Valley Park, Belmont (Geelong)
Fishcare’s FREE ‘Come and Try Fishing’ days are designed to introduce young people and families to Fishing, and aim to promote responsible and sustainable angling practices to everyone.
Supported by our Fishcare Victoria staff and volunteers, each session runs for 60 minutes, and bookings are essential.
Participants will learn about Victorian rules and regulations, and will try their hand at catching a fish!
Covered by a group fishing licence, these events are FREE, and include the use of rods, tackle, and bait.
Please Note:
If you are unable to use a booking, please cancel via Eventbrite as soon as possible – these sessions are sought-after, with limited spaces available.
Cancellation of a session may be required by the organiser when predicted adverse weather or other conditions may be unsafe or unsuitable – notifications will be made via email & mobile SMS, sometimes within 24 hours of the intended start time.
