A Wonderful Autumn Day at Mornington Jetty

On this cloudy Autumn Friday, Mornington Jetty truly came alive for us, providing an exciting and fruitful day of fishing. Despite the overcast weather, the jetty did not disappoint, with an abundance of undersized pinky Snapper being caught, along with a few keepers. Among the highlights were a lovely King George Whiting and a ripper Southern BlueSpot Flathead.

Our three planned Fishability sessions went off without a hitch, but the day had even more in store. We had the pleasure of assisting a large group of community families and friends who had gathered to enjoy a day of fishing together. The jetty was filled with laughter and joy, as everyone enjoyed the thrill of the catch.

The atmosphere was filled with lots of smiles and plenty of fun, making it a truly wonderful day for everyone involved. We owe a huge thanks to our fantastic Fishcare Victoria volunteers Alan, Kerry, and Ivan, as well as our dedicated ‘trainee’ Paul. Their hard work and enthusiasm made this memorable day possible.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Mornington Jetty. We look forward to many more days like this, filled with great catches and even greater company.

Stay tuned for more exciting fishing adventures with Fishcare Victoria!
