Brian Tracey becomes a life member
At the recent Fishcare Victoria 2019 State Conference, Brian Tracey was awarded a life membership. Brian Tracey has made an outstanding contribution to both Fishcare Melbourne and Fishcare Victoria Programs.
Brian started in 2007, helping with the schools program through the Hobson’s Bay Fishing Club, run by Remy and Maxzina Fuller. Brian became Melbourne President in 2009/10 and has remained the President ever since. In this time, he has also been a significant and continual support for the Port Phillip Facilitator and makes every effort to attend all meetings (face to face and skype) and the group would most likely to have ceased to exist prior to the employment of a Melbourne Facilitator.
Brian became the Vice-President of Fishcare Victoria in 2014 and generously stepped in as acting President for more than 12 months whilst the position was vacant. Brian has attended and chaired the monthly Fishcare Melbourne General Meetings over the last 10 years. He actively contributes to the conversation offering solutions. Due to Brian being involved with other fishing organisations/committees, Fishcare Victoria has benefited from his vast experience and knowledge.
Fishcare Victoria is privileged to have volunteers like Brian that continue to offer their time and passion for the benefit of our recreational fishing sector and engaging our future anglers in responsible fishing.
