About Fishcare Victoria

Fishcare Victoria is a dynamic, community-based program dedicated to fishing education and participation activities. We aim to foster responsible fishing practices and protect our aquatic ecosystems. Our programs include fishing clinics, educational initiatives for schools, community festivals, and conferences. As a non-profit, charity-registered and volunteer run organisation, we are primarily funded through grants from various government sources.

Position Overview

The primary purpose of the Port Phillip Facilitator position is to recruit and support volunteers within the Port Phillip region to deliver Fishcare’s responsible fishing education programs. This role involves coordinating Fishcare activities with stakeholders and managing the ‘All Ability – Fishing is for Everyone’ program.
