Celebrating Our Incredible Fishcare Victoria Volunteers!

In honor of National Volunteer Week, we are thrilled to celebrate our amazing volunteers who, over the past seven years, have generously donated over 12,000 hours of hands-on support to help deliver the Fishcare program. Valued at $40 per hour, this equates to an incredible $480,000 of volunteer support! And that’s not even including the many thousands of hours dedicated to Steering Committee meetings and behind-the-scenes organisational support!

A Community of Educators and Stewards

Together, we’ve educated countless individuals about responsible fishing and fostered a deep sense of stewardship for our precious aquatic resources. Our volunteers’ dedication and passion have made a tremendous impact, ensuring that our waterways remain vibrant and sustainable for future generations.
