Online Zoom Workshops

During the COVID pandemic, we have been delivering our educational workshops via zoom. This is a great opportunity to brush up your knowledge about our aquatic systems and work on your recreational fishing skills to prepare for when we can actively get back out fishing post-pandemic. We are delivering the following programs to schools via zoom:

Creating Sustainable Anglers

Learn the basics of how to get involved with Recreational Fishing. This includes fish biology and identification, casting, knot tying, fish handling and rules and regulations.

Invading the Bay

Litter Warriors

Litter Warriors is a Victorian curriculum aligned school workshop related to sustainability with the purpose of increasing awareness on the indirect and direct impacts of litter within Port Phillip Bay.

What’s Under the Water

Interested in fish and other animals that are found in freshwater, estuarine and marine environments? What’s under the water aims to provide students with information about their unique qualities, habitats and lifestyles in a fun and engaging way and stresses the importance of looking after the environment.
