Partnering with Vic Fish Kids Program

Fishcare Victoria has a long standing relationship with Victorian Fisheries Authority (VFA) and continues to build on this partnership to deliver responsible fishing activities throughout Victoria. Fishcare is a partner of the Vic Fish Kids program and our volunteers and staff will be attending all 6 events across Victoria, sharing our knowledge, passion and skills in responsible fishing education.

The VFA will be hosting six free events in 2018 to get more children fishing, more often! They’re fun and free, and everything is provided so youngsters can cast a line and try fishing in a safe and supportive environment. Come along and join Fishcare Volunteers and Vic Fish Kids ambassador Rex Hunt, who will inspire young and old with expert tips. 200 rod and reel outfits will be given away at each event to encourage beginners to stick with the hobby and try it again another time with family and friends.
