East Gippsland – Valuable Partnerships with Angling Clubs

At last, 2021 came to an end and Fishcare East Gippsland traveled on the last day of the year to Bemm River to deliver the “Bemm River Kid’s Fishing Day” partnered with the Bemm River Angling Club.

 Over 70 participants took part in the educational fishing workshop and fishing and the morning was completed with a BBQ and fun activities put on the Bemm River Angling Club. Andrew Benton, the Mallacoota Fisheries Officer/ Education & Enforcement also attended to give the participants and families an insight in the role of a Fisheries Officer.
