These events, designed to bring the joy of fishing to everyone, regardless of their experience level, have once again proven to be a resounding success.
The day was filled with excitement, as participants, including many first-timers, managed to catch a significant number of fish, leading to countless smiles and memorable moments. The success of the event is a testament to the passion and dedication of the community and its supporters.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to the Port Phillip Community Group, whose ongoing support has been invaluable. Special recognition is also given to Fishcare Volunteer Phon, who played a crucial role in the day’s activities. Their efforts in promoting sustainable fishing practices and educating participants are commendable.
The event would not have been possible without the extraordinary support from the members of the Elwood Angling Club. A massive shout-out to Graeme, Peter, Mark, and Richard, whose enthusiasm and expertise contributed immensely to the success of the day. Their willingness to share their love for angling with others has made a significant impact.
