Geelong Bellarine Update

With 2020 being a slow year for us, we were thankful to end on a high conducting several educational clinics with school groups along the Bellarine Peninsula in partnership with the Bellarine Catchment Network and the Victorian Fishing Authority. These were great events including canoeing and native vegetation searches with the students.

We have also been working on restoring our trailer. With works nearly complete we are set to enjoy the fruits of our labour for the coming years and have a greater presence at our community events. A huge thanks to volunteer Roger Seddon for all his work on this project!!

Our start to 2021 has been exceptional, with 13 come and try fishing clinics conducted at Portarlington and 4 others in conjunction with the South-West Group. We have also hosted 3 all ability clinics in partnership with Reclink. Going forward we are strengthening and continuing this partnership in the region and are eager to build on the all abilities side of our operations into the future.
