Supporting Vic Fish Kids

The Victorian Fisheries Authority has held their final Vic Fish Kids day in Maryborough on the 29th of October. The event was the last of a series of kids fishing days held across the state as a part of the Target 1 Million campaign, aimed at getting more people fishing more often.

The ambassador for the program was fishing icon Rex Hunt who attended all events to promote children fishing and offer some fishing tips. Fishcare worked in partnership with the VFA offering its services of fishing clinics, rod and reel assembly, knot tying, rigging and casting tuition along with general recreational fishing information and resource provision.

Fishcare Victoria looks  forward to partnering with the VFA on future initiatives that compliment and align with the Fishcare aim of creating the next generation of sustainable anglers!
